Today I visited the project's website and was horrified. The latest news is from April 16, 2006.
We had some issues with the website. Very soon, the website will change its name, and there will be an update.
The appearance or statistics are not ready for half of the creatures.
Just because they are not on the website doesn't mean they are not ready :) The statistics have been ready for all creatures for a long time, and most of the monsters are also completely ready. It's just that there isn't always time to convert them into a format for the website.
In the campaigns section, there are still only screenshots from the first map.
The update will include screenshots from four more maps.
You said that you only had a little left to do, but there is a lot of work.
Not at all, there isn't a lot of work. The work is, let's say, in the final stages.

You will see it :) Bastion won't be released until version 3.59 at the earliest. And version 3.59 itself will most likely be released only next year. Why rush?
Or did everyone just go on vacation, and that's why the work has stopped?
The work hasn't stopped. The work is in full swing :) Yes, there is some irregularity, but this is a normal phenomenon.
