With Axel, everything depends on the combination of Archangels and Paladins, and no matter what you say, eliminating one of these units early on guarantees Axel's defeat. The rest of Axel's units (except perhaps the crossbowmen under certain circumstances) are created for support (roughly speaking) =)). Plus, Daleb has a Catapult and a Paladin for first aid + summoning Cave Lords (his ability is definitely not comparable to the resurrection of Archangels) - it's just unsettling when Archdevils place 8-11 high-hit-point units on your "base." You need to learn how to block Paladins; it takes three or four duels against them.
By the way, in my opinion, Razaz handles things much more confidently than Daleb. No matter what you say, 240 Golems in one slot + teleportation is a powerful combination.
