I confirm. The start is indeed tough. I struggled as much as I could. I was left without castles, but managed to scrape a bit of viv and a lot of money from the treasures. If I had been smarter, I would have managed to grab the secondary; there's a Dragon Utopia nearby, plus trees and a couple of good artifacts. Xeron is level 13 and Shiva is level 11 — so there were chances, but I fell for the box with 150 core medusas and couldn't handle it.
Thanks for the game, sorry that there's no final save this time.

p.s. although there were some moments! Like when my Bron killed Melody as a gnoll on kente — I liked that :) (this is on the topic of "defense rules"))
