From personal observations:
2. As for unit placement in the Utopia map, no matter how much I read about it, it doesn't seem to matter much. No matter what stack I put the unit that dragons target in the first round, they will attack it - the main thing is that they can reach it :)
there are many examples - how to arrange troops so that dragons attack their own kind, and how they target nagas and hydras in the first round, and how they stick to your archers... by the way, sometimes it's beneficial to use archers as a decoy and to absorb return damage ;)
