Yeah, I shouldn't have skipped Resurrections — trying to break the habit. On the first day I broke through an artifact and two strong guards to get to Sunshrines. But Shakti was level 4 with Air Magic base. On the second day, a Crypt — obviously that's a secondary for Rampart. So I didn't take it, despite my worst-ever respawn. Made Manticores in the Castle and a thousand.
Among money buildings — a Crypt on day 2 for 1500. Then on day 121 I reached a Dwarf Cottage — and it was mini. I revealed a Medusa Shed, and it was almost max — turned out to be 10 with an upgraded stack. Left it for later, thought I'd find something. Didn't find anything. In the end, on the third day with minimal buying, I went into the treasure zone for a Naga Bank, killed 5-9 Chaos Hydras, picked up a Sphere of Earth and the Naga Bank at 4. Total — a screen of Centaurs and nearly all the remaining Troglodytes and 3 Cats. Already GG. And then Blue came at the end of the week too. My opponent could have finished earlier — one hex short to break the chain, otherwise it would have passed to the Castle. And about a third of the army only just managed to kill 80+ Grand Elves, a couple of Unicorns, and Dendroids...
