Tell me how to use the hero extractor.
It says it doesn't see the Heroes window

First, check if the window field in the extractor is filled in correctly. (This is a long bar to the left of the "Magnifying glass" icon.) For the Buuka version, the window should contain:
Heroes of Might and Magic III
I remember I entered the Russian name, and the program also couldn't see the game.

2 Dirty:
The name of the map in the editor looks like outright mockery.
I don't know who contributed more to this, you or Rapper, but if, for example, my goal was to drive players away from WoW — I would use exactly this kind of map-making technique.
Forcing a player to spend many man-hours browsing endless windows in search of ghosts, on a huge map with an insane density of objects — what could be more interesting? After such a study of the editor, you'll most likely have no strength or desire left to actually play.
You could, of course, just ignore it and pretend to be "blind," but then the question is — what was the point of painting all this in the first place?
IMHO, such gimmicks have little to do with true Heroes.
This tournament will be remembered by me as
An Easter egg hunt for housewives: "Find the item with a surprise."
And that's a shame. You used to be very good at making maps that make you think.
