No. This would require completely rewriting the data transfer methods. Without the source code, this is practically impossible.

So, was the unofficial patch for Heroes IV created without the source code? :eek: How was that even possible? I assumed that the developers had dissected the original version.
What if we asked Buku to grant permission to modify the game and provide the source code? I understand that the game is no longer supported by them.
Or, as a last resort, we could gradually disassemble the game in secret, on our own.
Honestly, I would be incredibly interested in exploring this.
I think I will be able to do such things soon. For complete satisfaction, I will need to learn assembly language, which I haven't even started studying yet.
