Regarding the similarity of the heroes, one could argue, and you could equate anyone that way. By the way, besides the main hero, there are other characters.

All sorts of leagues of main villains exist everywhere. Does that mean they are all primitive?

I've read "The Draft," "Night Watch," "Cold Skies," and "Autumn Visits," and I like these books. I wouldn't say they are all the same, not in the slightest. Although I don't feel like reading "Genome," "Stars," or "Labyrinth."
