He didn't show any gameplay at all - he just wandered around the base, poking around in the corners - and didn't come up with anything worthwhile, and started the planned cleanup too late... as a result, he had absolutely nothing to oppose his opponent with - as can be seen from his description. The battle can be said to have lasted only one round.
Well, you could say it was my first real battle, in a way.
