We played for more than 12 hours with a short break. First I went through all the restarts, and then my opponent did too, and we started. I had a bunch of shooter blocks, lizards, and something else that I had to kill just to have somewhere to go. Only one crypt on the respawn - but lucky it was max. On the barbarian secondary: 20-49 stacks of flies; on the other secondary, still on my own respawn, a horde of lizards blocked the road. First week at home and a scout in the basement. The horses in the castle were built. Gurni was already in the basement, looting Dwarf Cottages, and then grabbed a Pandora's Box behind the medusas. Valka kills the lizards and fights her way down the long road (luckily they were fast) to the Necro secondary. There's a Griffin Conservatory two-spot there, and +1 to speed; Valka has Expert Air but no spell book; there's a Necropolis nearby - I decided to buy a book (Haste wasn't there, of course), and the shooters had arrived from home. Next turn - +2 angels. The respawn is not convenient, so Valka splits back home and visits the stables. The scouts reveal a Dragon Utopia on the swamp from the watchtower. Valecka takes a minimal Conservatory at home behind a horde of gogs and a level 3 nagabank. A corner of another Conservatory appeared in a corner of the respawn - a chain started. Valka goes to the rocks, the scouts run to the Conservatory - they run into 10-19 champions for +2 to speed; I thought about it, attacked, and beat them. There's also an external stable and a nagabank there. I set up on the Conservatory - a throng - the scout climbed in - max... Well, had to take it; the remains of crusaders and griffins were finally written off the combat roster, but in exchange +4 combat guys. Pathfinding was offered to Valka, and I took it for future prospects, which later caused problems with Town Portal without Earth skill. I entered a treasure site from the rocks with Valka, aimed for a Pandora's Box, when Gurni appeared on the Necro secondary with a weak army (no angels or wyverns). I didn't want to give up the distant secondary because it would be problematic to retake later, and there was a Dragon Utopia there too. I split up, transferred troops across the entire map, and with Mass Haste wrote the barbarian a ticket home.
After that, the opponent's turns increased in length by two or even three times, although I didn't see anything serious on the saves each turn. This lasted until the end of the game. I was already about to offer a draw. I went through the basement treasure site from the swamp - there, in a level 3 Dragon Utopia, a Book of Earth, a Helm for mana. A Sword +5 All lying around behind some wyverns. A couple of turns earlier, I'm looking closely at the rocks - and I see the edge of Boots behind some simple golems!!! Oh, three weeks barefoot... Town Portal to Necropolis Town - its Dragon Utopia there - level 3, +3 All, Sentinel's Shield, and something else. Lots of money, but I forgot to buy back on day 147 and the plague took everyone. That guy who got the Boots on the rocks found another Dragon Utopia there - minimal. Then the opponent, crawling around for half an hour in one spot on the snow, angered me - or rather, his scout, who took back a couple of towns. Valka, standing a couple of tiles away from the opponent's last dungeon, doesn't take it because Town Portal won't work and the chain is broken. Town Portal and I recapture both castles in different parts of the map this turn and chase away the insolent scout with a powerful army. Anyway, I went with Valka to catch Gurni; he has Logistics, but against Valka's expert Logistics + stables + Boots + Gloves, he couldn't get far. I only found a Conservatory on my barbarian respawn via Teleport, and there he was, handcuffed and sentenced.
Thanks for the game. It was exhaustingly long.
