Some of my thoughts regarding the past and upcoming Tournaments, and Tournaments on HeroesWorld in general.

I. The rules and regulations must be defined before the start of the Tournament (discussion and changes only during registration). The regulations must be carefully considered so that there are no situations requiring replays. For example, if the number of points is equal, the participants who played their games earlier proceed to the next round (other variations are possible). This information should be placed in the first post of the Tournament topic - with all final changes, so as not to go through the entire topic in search of the truth during the game, which is not very convenient when the clock is ticking. It is impossible to change the regulations and rules during the Tournament.

II. The deadlines for rounds must be clearly defined by the organizer and communicated to the players. Minor deviations are possible (extension: for completing games, discrepancies with time, other objective reasons) that do not have a significant impact on other players. I also believe that significant deviations in deadlines are possible in case of force majeure circumstances (an unexpected Interportal Tournament, a website malfunction...). The responsibility for compliance with deadlines lies with the Organizer, who also makes decisions on extending the rounds.

Well, in the next Tournament, be prepared :D the rule on conducting games will come into force.

I have a small Tournament experience - I have played about 12-15 Tournaments and I am currently playing on different resources. I haven't seen anything like it anywhere. Where there is a clear regulation and the Organizer monitors the Tournament, the deadlines are more or less strictly observed. You don't have to go far: I really like how Nagan runs Tournaments - there is no harshness, and the games are played, there are few technical issues.

I don't understand why it is necessary to introduce repression, force someone to play, intimidate with disqualification... It seemed to me that we are here to play for fun, not for a salary. Or am I missing something? Maybe someone here plays for million-dollar contracts?

In Tournaments, players have repeatedly appeared who suddenly disappeared/stopped participating in Tournaments, thereby spoiling the overall impression of the Tournament.

In my observations, mostly newcomers disappear, who accidentally stumbled upon a Tournament topic and thoughtlessly signed up for it. They probably can't even find the topic later - it's not easy to navigate the site at first. Such players don't care about bans.

if a player does not respond to requests to play Tournament games, refuses to participate in the Tournament for valid reasons - a ban on participation in Tournaments on HeroesWorld for a period of 6 months. If a player has valid reasons for refusing to participate in the Tournament and informed the organizer about this during the Tournament - a ban on participation in the next Tournament on HW.

How and by whom will the "validity" of the reason be determined? Born - got married - died? In my opinion, it is not very polite to find out personal reasons. Should the reason be reported publicly or in private? Will the reason "loss of interest in this Tournament" naturally not be considered valid? That is, will you have to play through force if you are interested in the next Tournament? It's no longer fun... How will compliance with the disqualification period be monitored? Will a table be drawn up? In my opinion, such a rule will provoke either players leaving for other resources, or lying, or rudeness (like "What's it to you?"). Who benefits from this?

I ask these questions not because I dream of carelessly "skipping" 30% of the games in the next Tournament, I try to adhere to the deadlines. (The only blunder was in this past Tournament, precisely because of changes to the regulations and delays in deadlines.) I feel sorry for other players. Example - Tournament on Jebus:

Will Sem56 and Nagan be banned from participating in the next Tournament, and Aldegir and Evgeny - a six-month disqualification?
It seems to me that we will not improve the situation on HW with bans, selections, and harassment.
