The plot isn't very good, as is often the case in horror movies – it's nonsense. Although it is unusual.

The Japanese have a twisted mind that works at 200%; everything is unusual for them...

I liked the American one, but I didn't watch the Japanese one, or if I did, I don't remember anymore...
