And the hedgehog's behavior, flinching in fear from every tree and leaf, is painfully reminiscent of the post-alcoholic fears of chronic alcoholics. One wonders, what is the story of this "children's tale" about, and what lifestyle do they promote, other than the alcohol-narcotic haze of our prickly intelligentsia?
