My memory doesn't fail me. ;) The collection of short stories consists of two books: The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny. Right now, I'm playing a game based on the same source material and I'm amazed at how accurately the ideas from the book are conveyed... And that's not surprising, considering that Sapkowski himself was involved in the development.

Small, The Silmarillion is more of a "bible" of Middle-earth than an adventure fantasy. IMHO, it's for those who appreciate it.
