I understand that we have decided on the specifics of how the games will be conducted; the second option is indeed the most balanced. As for the draft, my opinion is that the second option (a quote from Primus) is the most optimal and, most importantly, has been proven in practice. This scheme was used for the drafts in the last two online tournaments, and no participants expressed any complaints about someone being in a better situation because they drafted first or second.
