numOne (blue, Castle, Valeska, Valeska) vs. Dubrovin Pavel (Red, Dungeon, Shakti, Shakti), 2sm4d(3), 1.3.7.
Thank you for the game!
Confirmed! I realize that I need to take risks and go for the last rest, which for some reason I didn't do. I had: Necromancy, and I fell for 2 secondary skills. At my own respawn, I found nothing worth taking, only a Minimal Crypt. I took a Fortress secondary skill, pushed through to a Conflux secondary skill. Home Manticores without Minotaurs in the Citadel. Virtually no money.
On the second week - a Conflux secondary skill. The Conflux respawn was generous with three Cons, but my Army is too small, I can't go on the second week. I couldn't even be bothered to check them.:o I turn towards my own respawn, where I took a Dwarf Cottage Three, which allowed me to buy troops and head towards the Cons.
On the third week - I take the Cons (4+1+2), planned to split and take the +6 sword with 20-49 Lord Vampires, which I hadn't gotten around to before, when Evgeny arrived, but he didn't attack Shakti in the Castle, took my sword and left for his own.
Honestly, this situation stung me a bit, emotions took over instead of common sense, which was telling me where are you going, you idiot, without mass magic and with such low parameters, but emotions won and I attacked.
At first, it actually went fine, although Ice Bolt was killing 1 Angel per turn, but then the Crossbows misfired and took down about 4 Angels, which I certainly wasn't counting on, and then someone on Andrey's side misfired a few more times, and Magic finally killed me off.
Why I attacked, I can't fathom now, although in my right mind I should have transferred troops on the fourth week, splitting Shakti in Conflux, taking the Dragon Utopia, which was at the Conflux respawn.
But what threw me off balance here was the fact of my artifact being stolen with impunity, which led to the failure of the match.
Thanks for the game to Evgeny, I'll try to control my emotions.
