Good lord, there’s so much boasting about how 4, or even 6, minutes are needed, and how anyone who plays differently is some kind of noob. I’ll just say this: I usually spend 2-3 times less real time than fairly experienced players, and whether I win or lose (sometimes it’s frustrating to make a mistake), I see that there’s no real advantage in the opponent’s development. Sometimes it’s not even clear what such a huge amount of real time is spent on; obviously, it’s spent on minor messing around with unimportant heroes, or I don’t know what else. In principle, of course, I’m not arguing; there should be a certain minimum time for a turn. When an opponent spends an average of 1-2 minutes of real time on a turn, then everything is clear with them, but spending 10-15 minutes on EACH turn is also a bit much; let’s respect our own time and the time of others, and try to minimize the turn time as much as possible.
