4) If using scrolls is allowed, it can create too much of an advantage. For example, I have often acquired powerful spells like Dimension Door and Portal early in the game. Reaching level 121, you can then use Gate (or even better, at level 117) and advance towards your opponent. It's not interesting!

The question is whether to allow the use of combat scrolls against neutral creatures. Otherwise, it becomes absurd: I have a group of Grand Orcs guarding a scroll with Chain Lightning. I spend a lot of troops trying to break through, and then I can't even use it. It's ridiculous.
And Galtran should be banned; he's a real pain. :D
