Sociology consists of several sciences, based on psychology as a science about the human psyche, sociology as a science about relationships in human society, and computer science as a science about information exchange. Sociology originated as a continuation of the teachings of Z. Freud and his student, C.G. Jung. Freud introduced the idea that the human psyche has a structure. This structure includes levels: consciousness (ego), preconsciousness (super-ego), and the subconscious (id). Jung, based on his experience working with patients, saw that this structure is different for different people. Jung constructed not one, as Freud did, but eight models of the psyche and described eight psychological personality types. Based on Jung's teachings, Lithuanian scientist, educator, and economist Ausra Augustinavichiute built a new science called sociology. She managed to combine Jung's typology with the theory of information exchange, developed by Polish psychologist and psychiatrist Andrzej Kempinski. According to this theory, a person's mental health depends on the amount and quality of information they process. The development of Jung's typology by our contemporaries has increased the number of types from eight to sixteen. The analysis of sociological types of people made it possible to explain not only the behavior of an individual but also his relationships with other people.
