Dajn-mag? I disagree. I believe that all heroes in the Dark Elf faction are battlemages because their attack stat increases along with their magic skill:)
The most battlemage-like heroes are Iranna, Vainshan, Kifrah, Sorgall, and Erin. The others are, of course, much more mages than fighters.
Developing a Warlock often leads to an increase in attack and logistics, so it would be a sin not to take advantage of that...
Here's an example with Iranna:
1. Education
2. Chaos
3. Attack
4. Luck
5. Logistics
It won't be possible to create a pure warrior-mage for one simple reason: even with a low magic skill, a Warlock casts spells instead of shooting:)...
