Top on HW

The ranking system has its own set of drawbacks (in my opinion). An equivalent of Ranked Play (or Organized Ranked Play) would serve as a balance for this ranking (a patch, if you will). Regarding status: the ranking system also has its own status. This includes first place, the top five, the top ten, the top twenty, and so on. If you don't care about the ranking, why bother posting reports about your victories? Improving your ranking is essentially improving your status as a player, in the eyes of others (I think everyone will agree). I think you've noticed that the season winners (in our ranking) have a medal under their avatar. Did any of them boast about it so much that they flaunted their status in everyone's face? An equivalent of Ranked Play (or Organized Ranked Play), whatever it's called, will be more objective because it will identify not the most active players, but the strongest ones. (Someone else said this before, and I completely agree!!!) And what's immoral about that? Where do you see the inequality? In the seasonal ranking, I see there's a 120th place and a 10th place. So what? It's still a form of inequality. Not everyone can be in first place, or second, or third, and so on. Some play worse, some play better, and this system will allow us to look at all of this from a more objective perspective and identify the truly strongest player. (All IMHO. No offense.) Yes, by the way, I agree with Invisible and LeBron - the top 10 is perfect! That's what "top" means! PS: While I was writing this, 3 posts were posted. So the topic is relevant!
