"Nonsense!" Shhh, shhh, it's just a newbie's IMHO.
Don't take my words literally :) I just have this way of expressing my newbie IMHO, so don't get offended.
On Battle.net, as I understand it, RP tournaments are held every six months, and the Third RP is currently running in a round-robin system; maybe I'm wrong.
RP3 on Battle.net is in a round-robin format (Swiss system), but to play in the League, you still need to qualify, right? That is, you need another qualifying tournament. IMHO, there's no need to reinvent the wheel; just do it like on Battle.net, i.e., hold a tournament every six months. By the way, being in the top 10 there is very prestigious, and it's very difficult to get there. If you make it TOP-20 instead of TOP-10, it won't be the same! I'll try to explain my idea more simply: 1 - It should be prestigious to get into the TOP League, i.e., a maximum of 10 players. 2 - Playing in it shouldn't be stressful for all participants, i.e., there should be ENOUGH time, and no teching!!!
