Actually, you can talk about Nightwish for a very long time, so I'm just providing a link to boost your karma for those who are not familiar with them - it has quite a detailed description of the band, plus pictures and videos.;)

Actually, this is my favorite band:cool: In principle, their style is mixed - symphonic-power-gothic-epic metal with operatic vocals and serious keyboard riffs:D, but roughly speaking, it's just symphonic metal.
Previously, Tarja Turunen sang in the band,



but then the guys decided that she was after money and popularity, and they kicked her out:smile48: although I think Tuomas probably didn't find it easy to fire her, they had been together since the first grade...
Now they have a new vocalist, Anette


And what do you think, who is younger, Tarja or Anette??:rolleyes: Of course... Tarja! She is 33 now, and Anette is already 38!!!!!!! They say, oh, Anette is more beautiful... But she sings in a different style (as an ordinary username would say - "THIS IS CRAP COMPARED TO TARJA!":smile42: ) But this is Nightwish's choice, and I'm not going to argue, because the new vocalist was even more heavily criticized if she had imitated the incomparable Tarja..
And also... Anette's breasts are sagging:smile52: I'm for the first vocalist!:)
