Even though I bought Haggeesh without companions, I developed quickly because I focused on logistics and production, as I was "taught in driving school." By the end of the 3rd week, I had a utopia and was level 20, against my opponent's level 14, with an attack of 21, compared to the Elven hero's 5 attack. At the beginning of the 4th week, I made a mistake by chasing after my opponent's hero. The week wasn't favorable for the Elves – minus 2 to their defense and luck – I thought he wouldn't attack and was preparing to storm his castle. I took a catapult and "Death Stride" for this. Strong reinforcements were coming from the castle, and I had no level 6 and 7 units at all. I realized that I might "pay dearly" for my haste and started running towards the hero with meat. My opponent's main hero also had excellent logistics, and he overtook me, attacking with all his available troops, including the dragoons. The outcome of the battle was decided by the ballista with archers. I think the mistake was that the Elves didn't immediately "take it out" with a horde of archers, considering that both of my stacks of companions couldn't even shoot at the start due to the high speed of the forest...
