Red Castle Orrin resource dump garbage no resources no money. Result by the second week municipality. Scraped together troops went to break through a mob of gogs at the passage; in front of them stood 70 mages showing that I would pass and attack the gogs. Result: dead Orrin at the hands of the mages. Then bought him back, took a secondary Tower, raised resources — not enough resources and also not enough money. With difficulty by week 3 angels. Took a pandora for 25 Elves. Gathered troops: 9 Archangels, 35 Griffins, 21 Monks, 25 Elves, 15 Champions, 40 Crusaders, 70 Marksmen; stats 9 7. Dragon Utopia: 5 Black Dragons. Losses: 25 Griffins and 20 Marksmen. Took Speaker's Hat, Sphere of Inhibition, Chalice, Sentinel's Shield. And this was the day before his arrival; he attacked my castle, I fought him off, and then went to his main castle and finished him there.

Embarrassing to write about this — they'll laugh at me:o , but as it turned out in the end, there were as many as 4:eek: :eek: :eek: Ramparts on the map. Though I took my first secondary only around 1.3.5 (there was a block — many vampires, I was afraid; it turned out to be 10+10 gr.-x:D ). Soon I spotted the opponent's scout, went into those rocks, wandered around there quite a bit (Naga Bank, Pandora's Box for 5000 experience) — only by the end of week 4 or even the beginning of the second month did I break through to the second secondary (again Rampart). In the guild (the first of three), they finally gave me Slow; I thought, here we go (I'd had Expert for a while) and... went the wrong way again, returned to those rocks, killed 45 King Cyclops for a Pandora's Box with 15000 gold. In short, I went the long way around, not knowing that Vavashik's starting castle was up above — if I'd attacked right away, oh, everything would have been completely different:rolleyes:. As it was, I let him develop up to Archangels, take the max-level Dragon Utopia near his castle (Shield +12, Chalice, Lollipop, Speaker's Hat:smile34: ) — and no more Dragon Utopias were seen anywhere after that. Then I blundered again: for some reason I attacked him in his castle with 10 Archangels (against my 9 Green Dragons:smile48: ) and everything else. As it turned out, Archangels under the Lollipop cannot resurrect — this was news to both of us; however, Orrin's stats (13-25) against my 9-11 and without my ability to cast Mass Shield, Mass Stone Skin, Mass Slow decided the battle with a catastrophic imbalance (and I had something like 190 Elves alone). In short, I bought myself off with 5 units and a horde of Dwarves, went and took a level-3 Griffin Conservatory, fooled around a bit more, then entered my starting Rampart and heroically defended until the end:D .
