What is your opinion on Russian rock music?

I prefer Western music, although there are some good bands in Russia as well. As for the sound, domestic bands don't quite reach the level of world-class giants (like Metallica or Rammstein), but in other aspects, they can definitely compete (lyrics, melodies, and sometimes even the technical execution). The bands you mentioned are definitely not the worst in Russia, but they probably don't reach international standards either. Although, I remember that a band from Kishinev worked with a Rammstein producer at some point (I don't know what they're doing now) - and at that time, they sounded pretty good, even with a plus.
