With the launch of any of the 5 Heroes games (original, expansions, unofficial expansions).

I installed it, launched it, and it shows the splash screen, and that's it! I can wait for days, but nothing happens. It doesn't load the system, it doesn't use any RAM, just the splash screen. In the task manager, it says the game file is not responding! I used to play it without any problems. Yesterday, I installed Windows XP SP3, and I'm wondering if that's the problem, but I haven't had any issues with other games or applications; in fact, they seem to be running better! I have the latest version of DirectX from the Microsoft website. I tried installing the patch for version 1.6 that I downloaded from this site, and it told me that the game is either not installed or installed incorrectly! Please help, I really want to play, but I don't know what to do! :(
