In my opinion, the skills are equivalent.
We tested: Tazar, level 20, 10-10-1-1 with 1 Archangel, against Craig with the same parameters, level, and Archangel, and they deal the same damage to each other!!!
But from the point of view of fighting neutrals, defense will be more reliable.
For example, if you give a neutral unit Defense and it runs to our archers... There are many different situations.
And D or spacebar can be very decisive! Especially when you don't kill one unit in one hit, and it doesn't kill you!!
And Tazar will also be leveled up in defense; I tested 40-0-0-0 and 0-40-0-0, and 10 angels; attack rules.
