A lot has been done in Windows, as if everything has already been taken care of. So, guys and girls, everything related to tweaking and improving Windows goes here.
I'll start with Windows Vista.
Disabling Windows Defender in Windows Vista.
1. Launch Windows Defender by clicking the Start button, selecting All Programs, and then Windows Defender.
2. In the Tools menu, select Options.
3. In the Administrative Settings section, check or uncheck the "Use Windows Defender" box and click Save. Enter the administrator password or password confirmation if prompted.
Disabling UAC in Windows Vista
If you haven't disabled UAC (User Account Control) yet, here's how:
Start - Control Panel - User Accounts - Turn User Account Control on or off - uncheck the box "Use User Account Control (UAC) to protect your computer."
The changes will take effect after a restart.
