As part of the tournament "Best of the Best"
Lok 1978 (Elf Gilraen) defeated Player v Geroev (Elf Anwen) — Sheet 2-1-4
The game turned out to be a wild one. Since the mirror matchup agreed with the player to ban Wing and Osya. As a result, I got Wing, and the player, as I understood it, got Osir. (
I took Gilraen. In the first week I discovered mines in a neighboring zone, guarded by 20 dogs, 60 demons, and 94 imps. Having leveled up the hero on treasure chests by the end of the first week, I broke the guard of the neighboring zone and captured the mines.
Along with the mines, I picked up a couple of rings, Boots of Speed, and a Dragon Eye.
I managed to gain about one level per day for 17 days. So by the start of the third week, I had a monster with a decent army. Near the castle I discovered a Dragon Utopia and decided that as soon as possible, I would build a level 4 mage guild and portal there.
On day 18, while returning to the castle, I visited a couple of mage treasuries. I lost half of my archers from a stack of 24 there ((. But I got Resurrection and a Heavenly Shield there, which later played a decisive role.
At the start of week 4, I portaled into the Dragon Utopia with 24 archers, 10 upgraded horses, 10 druids, about 100 unupgraded swordsmen, and 56 bees. The Dragon Utopia had 4 Dragon Utopias, 2 libraries, and a bunch of all sorts of schools))). Gilraen was an expert in Logistics + Boots of Open Path. In three days I captured two Dragon Utopias, jumping into all the schools, and while approaching the third Dragon Utopia I noticed the enemy's castle.
Without much thought, I decided to portal and capture the enemy)). I was sure that better and faster development was simply impossible, because I was fighting every turn. On the fourth day of the fourth week, I captured the enemy's castle almost without resistance, because the player had moved all his troops out. But I couldn't sit in the castle — I didn't have enough movement points ((. As a result, the player with an army about three times larger caught me on the next turn. When setting up, my jaw dropped — the player was level 23 against my 19, and this was week 4))).
In terms of leveling, I was ahead + Resistance + Expert Defense + I had learned everything from magic, and I never took off the rings. As a result, all my troops acted first, and the Dragon Utopia activated twice. I shot down all his archers — 54 against my 24 — and a third of his druids (from 24). And I prepared to withstand a hit from 5 dragons, 8 trees, 18 druids, 90 fairies, and 10 horses. After acting a couple of times, the opponent cast Unholy Word..........................????
As a result, I had 4 druids, 86 swordsmen who resisted the spell, and 4 horses left. The opponent had 8 druids, 4 trees, 3 dragons, and 30 swordsmen. Well, heaven itself ordered me to retreat to the castle. In the castle: 5 dragons, 8 trees, 12 druids, and 24 swordsmen, plus the remnants after the battle. The opponent had his remnants, plus he lost more druids while kicking me out of his castle. Taking 5 dragons, upgrading the swordsmen, and 14 horses, I went to clear the Dragon Utopia. Before reaching the next objective, the opponent arrived. Having taken the growth and broken the guard at the portal, the player flew right at me with a loud cry of URRRAAAH. Finale: Player — 3 dragons, 10 horses, 14 druids, 70 swordsmen (approximate numbers), 8 trees, a bunch of bees. I had 5 dragons, 14 horses, 14 archers, 14 druids, about 100 swordsmen. The opponent's Domination failed two or three times, but I was ahead in troops and stats.
The player saved the game. He won because the opponent allowed it)))
I confirm, the way he cast that spell — ugh, it was terrifying)))
