1) Regarding the sizes - I am absolutely sure that "extra large" is needed. Because, in essence, the entire principle of generation has changed - if before a general level of protection was set and it was distributed across the entire zone. Accordingly, with some mismatch between the size of the zone and the content, it started to compress. Here, this problem has completely disappeared because 1) we set the density of objects ourselves (there is a special button for this) - there are no problems with compression. 2) we set the level of protection for EACH OBJECT in each zone separately. Accordingly, there are no more compressions. Plus, I have the impression that the boundaries of the zones here have become smaller, so the "working" area has become much larger. In general, I generated it and crawled around myself - I didn't see any problems. But if, during a series of games, we realize that we need to increase the size, there will be no problems with this at all.
2) The generator is not related to the Nival one in any way - it was written by a guy from Tokha (I just helped him with many things) and criticized him a lot. This is generally a separate program - it doesn't even need Heroes, it just creates maps, and where you will use them is your business.
3) I think I will upload all known templates in the near future and also post a description of the template creation process.
4) If it were up to me, I would immediately recommend playing Tournaments on it because 1) it is definitely no worse than the standard one. Of course, it has some shortcomings and things that I would like to fix, BUT it is already very good, and it will be much more interesting to play on it.
