Are there no downloaded maps either? Miracles don't happen. Either something is wrong with the computer or with the disc. Even a licensed disc can have a manufacturing defect. It's easy to check. Either install the game from your disc on another computer and try it there. If it works there, then the problem is with the computer or Windows. By the way, are you using Vista? Or, install the game from another disc on your computer.
