No one is putting you in someone else's place ... we are openly discussing all the nuances here - "getting used to the interface" is relevant to us and we have emphasized that (to avoid stupid mistakes) ... if you think someone here is campaigning for HeroesWorld or out of spite for Bai, you are mistaken. CmapuK
And two - it was you who first said, "it's unknown who's better, since we haven't competed in a match yet." And now we hear phrases like "it's too early to give a handicap" and "let's beat them on our home turf and by our rules."
There's no need to always focus on what someone said or wrote ... first and foremost, every statement has an author - who is responsible for themselves - with the exception being posts and statements from people chosen to be responsible (in this case, that's Nagan-4 for us). CmapuK
I understand that most of Bai's team doesn't care what rules to play by, but what about you? First you issue a challenge, and then you tailor the rules 100% to suit yourselves.
It's damn funny to hear accusations that we are tailoring the rules 100% to suit ourselves ... usually, you've been caught doing that, for example, in the last joint tournament - out of 3 games, 2 were purely by your rules and one by ours (though again, by your old rules nevertheless), and this despite multiple statements from you that you're ready to play by any rules and prove to anyone what Bai is all about, etc., etc. If you don't care - then why talk trash ... ??? CmapuK
Are you really so unsure of yourselves that you're only willing to play by your own rules?
I'll redirect that question to you ... Speaking for myself, if the game is not on SoD, then it's somehow daunting to even participate. ... Imagine if I challenge you or someone from your team to a duel on Heroes 5 online right now? Would you play? - that would be 100% by my rules! :) CmapuK
Our team certainly wants to win. But, I'm sure, for most of Bai's players, the important thing is that other players try TE. Even in a simplified version. If we win, we'll once again confirm that TE appeals specifically to strong players.
Personally, I want to actually play, and I don't think the result of such a tournament will greatly affect players' attitudes toward either of the versions being discussed here.
P.S. I understand that this kind of discussion is not constructive - but to avoid a repeat of the situation from the last tournament, I've clearly stated my position.
