Galtran still has to catch up to the hero with his skeletons. Or take the Castle. If he doesn't have Earthquake or Ballistics, it's unreal by the fourth month (the catapult gets taken out and that's it).
He is a good hero, no doubt, but there is an obvious weakness — speed (because of the skeletons), plus the low HP of the skeletons. And if his army is thinned out with magic, his specialization will prove not to be the most relevant, while the weaknesses remain...
You need to play for activity and speed, take the Dragon Utopia earlier, and you can get a lot of interesting things there.
