Dreamcatcher (red, Swamp, Tazar) DRAW with Rebellious (blue, Rampart, Kirrh) 2-3-...
The result of a long confrontation between Tankosaurus and Rocket.
The first week brought two lizard nests and a lot of money – I quickly took two crypts, the smallest and the largest. I quickly secured a secondary Necropolis in the Dungeon. I scouted three resource nodes, a dwelling and a farm in the Castle. I didn't try to take the farm with a group of mages, I didn't want to risk it.
The second week – I took the farm, I placed a guard in the underground treasury, I scouted a Titan's lair near the exit to the surface. I don't know what's up there, maybe another treasury, or maybe my opponent. I'm watching my opponent's secondary town and I'm feeling uneasy. On 1-2-7, I messed up with Hydras – because Tazar suddenly became wise quickly, I got so carried away building a tower in the Necropolis that I forgot to save sulfur. But the 4th tower gave me resurrection, which is very useful with the expert earth skill I have :smile20:. I built a Capitol.
The third week – a run through the resource nodes. And then bad luck – there's no slow effect anywhere! :smile48: I ran around all the towers, collected all the scrolls, visited the scholar – all for nothing. With losses, I took all the resource nodes – I have 7 angels. On 1-3-5, I break the Titan's lair, the main force – 22 Gorgons, + a revived Wivern – they give me a helmet for knowledge, a red orb, and... that's it. Well, and the boots of levitation, of course. I check the exit to the surface – and there's a snow treasury, and I run into a +4 shield for all stats guarded by Djinns. I take it, then I take two more wood nodes, I take the quest artifact guarded by 3 sulfur dragons. The Hydras are ready.
The fourth week – I lose, I buy back, and I go to loot the underground treasury. I get 8 Giants for the quest artifact! I gather more experience, a +6 sword, I shake the trees.
The fifth week – I'm looking for my opponent, and he comes to me. On 2-1-7, an interesting incident – my opponent stops with two heroes on the path in front of the castle, and the army is divided!
Tazar is already level 21, 18-17 with the red orb, troops – 7 angels, 8 giants, 151 lizardmen, 32 wiverns, 5 hydras, 37 gorgons, and stirges.
My opponent, Kirrh, is level 21, 15-17, 6 angels, about a hundred pegasi, 149 elves, 29 cavalry, 51 archers, >200 centaurs, >100 dwarves.
The angels and pegasi turned out to be with a mage-kamikaze, whom Tazar easily defeats (he immediately buys himself out), but it was difficult with Kirrh. Surprisingly, the lizardmen, together with the ballista (expert artillery), outshot the elves. When the gorgons joined the battle, Kirrh was in a bad way, he also bought himself out. And then I got lucky, I closed one hero in a tavern, and that was it. But my opponent bought them both out, and the confrontation dragged on.
In the sixth week, Tazar runs again to the snow, to the unexplored zone, luckily I found the basic pathfinding skill. There I take two large Titan's lairs – a book of air, a sword of justice, and a helmet of enlightenment! But at that moment, my opponent has a fatal bug with duplication. We tried to load – it doesn't help. We agreed to a draw.
There were already significant prerequisites for a draw – the insane defense of Tankosaurus, to break through which, Kirrh would have to grind for a long time with two castles. But Tazar's expert logistics + fast roads + DD and fly allowed him to constantly be near some city. Kirrh has a town portal, angel wings, and insane speed, he could fly across half the map in one turn. In general, who would have won, who knows. We tried to fight for fun – Tazar unsuccessfully besieged a castle with Kirrh inside, he really needed the ballistics skill. So maybe he would have won after all :D
Thank you for the game!
