Still, among chess players, I would highlight Robert James Fischer!
In his time, he practically won against the best chess players of that era with ease (especially in 1968-1971).
The games of this grandmaster at that time helped me significantly improve my game and fulfill the requirements for the Candidate Master of Sports title.
