Why does everyone seem drawn to the water? Perhaps you miss the sea, and I can't think of any other reason.

A little background:

After NIVAL announced that the fifth installment of the game would feature a BRAND NEW, never-before-seen race (and no one yet knew that it would be the Dark Elves), about a dozen respected fan sites (including giants like "Heroes Portal," "Celestial Heavens," and "MightandMagic") actively discussed only two candidates for the open spot – the technologically-oriented Forge Castle and the Ocean Castle, home to sea dwellers. Moreover, three-quarters of those expressing their opinions were against introducing technocracy into the fantasy world of Heroes. Consequently, the Ocean Castle was favored.
NIVAL, time, and the Dark Elves, of course, resolved the selection issue:)

However, the marine theme remains very popular. For example, in the "Racial Question" contest organized by NIVAL, marine factions were among the top five in terms of the number of submissions. Draw your own conclusions;-)
