I would call Osbourne the father of metal.

Actually, the official theory states that the band is one of the founders of metal. The band also had the beginnings of Doom Metal, and they are also credited with the beginnings of gothic rock... So you're not the only one who thinks that. The band made an invaluable contribution to the development of rock music, and for that, they deserve great respect.

I like the band. And Osbourne is a real man :D, he bit the head off a bat at one concert:D

I wonder what Greenpeace thinks about this.
