That's pretty cool. I had something similar happen to me. An enemy with a huge army approaches my city. It's the middle of the week. I could buy a lot of units, but I don't. He stands there for a few days, and I don't buy any units. And he gets offended that no one is there to meet him, so he leaves without capturing the city. That's how it went.
