Math Metal and Post-Metal are the pinnacle and standard of all metal music.

It seems no one is writing anything about this topic. I'll try to "dirty" the monitor with my thoughts :)
Unfortunately, I haven't listened to the bands mentioned above, but I can say that frequent changes in tempo are not a good thing for me; this kind of music puts a strain on my conservative mind. As for industrial and distorted guitars, there's something to it; it's even cool, like with Rammstein, but I still prefer a more "live" sound – guitars, normal drums, etc. :)
Conclusion: I haven't been interested in math-rock, and I'm not particularly interested in post-metal either. I've only listened to rock and metal my whole life. I don't think it's some kind of "pinnacle of metal" – rather, these are branches of development that combine many genres and claim to be "all-encompassing" in metal, but that doesn't mean they automatically become the pinnacle and standard. I prefer to drink tea or coffee, but not tea with coffee at the same time. Combining styles is also good – the main thing is that they are successful. I'll reiterate that I'm not very knowledgeable about this topic; I guess I'll have to listen to these artists :)
