More brutal? How so? It either works or it doesn't. :)
By the way, Elves can wipe out a decent chunk of an army in the first turn of a battle, which is also a plus.
And if a Knight trains Monks, for example, they can be made sworn enemies, which makes it less scary.
Only Demons, with their summoning ability, can compete in terms of troop numbers on large maps with undead.
But Runes are awesome :) especially with resurrection...
For example, if a unit is small and deals 50 damage, with the Avenger, it will deal 100 (+50), if the damage is 2000, then with the Avenger it will be 4000 (+2000).
