God... Truth or fiction?

What other kind of god could there be when all sorts of things are happening in the world? You don't even need to elaborate; just look at the news. Of course, one could argue that everything is God's will... But personally, such a will doesn't inspire much optimism.

Haha. It's not a given that gods must necessarily be kind and just.
According to the Church, God endowed people with certain traits. People are bloodthirsty, stupid, selfish, and irrational. Does that mean that God is the same?
And, actually, why not? What prevents gods from creating a miserable little world and enjoying the strife, wars, and killings? Like ants from different garbage heaps. A pleasant pastime. After all, many of us tortured bugs as children, didn't we?
By the way, extremely fitting and relevant: while I'm writing this, the news is reporting on an American senator who has filed a lawsuit against God because He is terrorizing and destroying our planet. The judge is in a bind because "the defendant must have a home address"...

In short, if gods exist, they are cruel and psychopathic. Kill everyone.
