God... Truth or fiction?

In principle, I don't deny the existence of some kind of supernatural forces, but the concept of God in Christianity or any other religion is nonsense, yes, pure nonsense. That's just my humble opinion. What kind of God could there be when all sorts of things are happening in the world? There's no need to elaborate; just look at the news. Of course, one could argue that everything is God's will... But personally, such a will doesn't inspire much optimism in me. Well, and if a "creator" does exist, then he has clearly abandoned this "forum"...
