Have you seen and studied dragons? :)) AK can penetrate many things. I doubt that scales as hard as stone are a problem for it.

At what cost? These forces will deflect the blaster.

A blaster is somewhat different from a laser. Even the damage they inflict is different.

Compare the power of a ship's shot and the shot of the same laser. It's pointless to even talk about whether a ship can penetrate a dragon's scales.

By the way, half of the weapons on the list don't make sense, because if it's even possible to get something out of photons and tachyons, it would require so much energy that it's hardly worth it.

Nevertheless, they are quite common in science fiction, so they should be taken into account.
