Fantasy vs. Science Fiction

Dragon scales have a mirrored surface, so the laser will reflect.

I'll repeat myself: a mirror won't save you from a laser.

And a rocket barrage... well, you'll just miss: it's like shooting butterflies out of a bazooka in the sky.

What about thermal navigation? Besides, the dragon is bigger than the rocket... so the butterfly example doesn't work. :)
