As I understand it, those who are against the patch are:

1) conservative and do not allow any changes to the game's executable file, although localizers have been doing this for a long time (I agree with this: either you accept it, or you don't; if not, then you need to switch to the original version: who uses NWC, and who uses Buka?);

2) cannot accept the new mechanics for random events because, for example, in the first turn (and in any other), it was previously possible to 100% trigger a morale boost, but now it's not; unicorns could always be charmed if desired, but now they can't... (and there are many other examples: basilisks, mighty gorgons, and other creatures with similar abilities) (I don't agree with this: the computer player seems to have the same capabilities, but for some reason, it doesn't use them at all);

3) doesn't know where the Heroes folder is located on their computer.
