On the first week, there were archers outside, but the passage to the next respawn was guarded by a crowd of mages; it was scary to attack. There were no more roads, so I hung around on the respawn for a week. I barely bought a 5th hero. Horses were standing in the Citadel. A second external dwelling of archers was scouted on the respawn behind a crowd of elves. I decided to take it on the second week.

On the second week, I made my way around to the GO, and saw that the next respawn was guarded by a crowd of gr. eyes. I brought archers from the castle, took the external dwelling of archers, and broke through the entrance to the underground. I sent a scout to check it out, and saw Shakti standing on troglodytes.
And then I have a major brain fart!!! I completely ... lost it. Overjoyed by such "luck," I decided to catch him off guard. I split the archers into stacks of 9, and WITHOUT TACTICS attack Shakti. To my "great surprise," he turns out to have expert tactics and runs. Realizing the full extent of my idiotic plan, in despair I try to take the Griffin Conservatory; 64 archers + meat gave a sliver of hope. It turned out to be a level 3 with gr. I have no horses. Naturally, a loss.
They gave an auto.
Then they attacked, killed 48 archers with gr. Manticores, and I bought myself out.


On the third week, I finally broke through the damn mages, took a secondary Rampart, saw another Griffin Conservatory — life seemed to be improving. I wanted to snatch it from under his nose and run to the treasury to shake out some Wyverns, but that would have been too cheeky. And Shakti catches up.

63 archers never even got to fire a single shot.
