I often choose the hero Nimue. Then, I upgrade her with Wide Gates of Hell in luck, Master of Gates in leadership (if it appears, but if the map is large, it should appear), fast gate opening in logistics, and, let's say, attack and dark magic.
By level 20, the number of summoned demons can be twice as many as the unsummoned ones.
Sometimes I think that Nimue is the strongest demon hero.
