I would argue too; the angel will have a better resurrection ability than the demons have for summoning pit lords :) besides, angels are much nicer than demons :)

Firstly, the resurrection ability is also quite good, and according to the hints, it even seems to be better.
Secondly, it's almost the same as arguing about who is better, a Naga or a Death Knight in Heroes of Might and Magic III.
One is stable. The other hits with varying results, but on average, they are equal. The varying results occur in the absence of a good curse and good blessing spells. The answer is clear: a unit with varying results is better.
