I absolutely agree, unless you have a mod installed that allows you to recruit heroes from campaigns. Otherwise, I would choose the Warlord. Agrael's ability + a powerful spell. We tried playing with this mod and gave it up. Only 5 factions have super heroes. The Mages, Dwarves, and Orcs don't have anyone to pit against them.
